NYSBCSEN Chair Susan Cohen will participate in a panel discussion on "Local Efforts on Breast Cancer Research, Education and Activism" at Rockefeller University in Manhattan on Thursday, September 27. This panel, part of a Cornell University Program's Breast Cancer and Environmental Risk Factors (BCERF) Regional Forum, will highlight what is being done in the New York City region to address and reduce breast cancer risk. Susan will also address her work with Manhattan Legal Service's Community Justice Project. Scientific sessions before the panel will include new research on endocrine-disrupting chemicals and breast cancer risk. The Forum is free and open to the public.
